Many do so do not feel alone if you are one of them. When we experience fear, it often stops us from taking steps to create our intentions and the life we most want to live.
Makes sense, fear is scary!
So what can you do to reach your goals even when fear is present?
One idea:
Clarify, and define what your true purpose is (the core theme or message in your life that you most want or need to express.)
This is not an easy task and will take some time, support and quiet reflection.
The idea is that if you know what is truly essential to you, then, more possibilities, confidence and motivation begin to emerge. Things will begin to feel less scary and unclear therefore allowing you to make effective choices.
As your choices and actions continue to be aligned with your purpose and values, you will be on a path to living a purposeful life.
How does one clarify, discover and define purpose?
To begin, ponder the following questions:
1. What would I regret if not accomplished before the end of my life?
Feel free to come up with multiple answers.
Then ask yourself:
2. If I knew there was NO POSSIBILITY I COULD FAIL, what would I choose to do in my life and/or my career?
Comments, reflections are welcome. . .
